I have just come back from Snape Maltings where Vison was exhibiting. The weather was glorious but visitors few. Everyone was out enjoying the sunshine and walking amongst these wonderful reed beds.

I have just done this show in Exeter. It was a great space and although visitor numbers were not great, many people showed interest in my books, printing methods and stitching onto metal frames, of which more later.The weather was cold but not as cold as home and we had rain instead of snow which was a lot more manageable.
Thread stand
I have just started using this thread stand designed by my product designer son, Ben. It is a vastly superior stand to the one I had previously which was not heavy enough and kept falling apart.
It sits behind my machine and keeps the thread just where I want it, it has weight to it and it looks very stylish and does the job perfectly. I use cones of thread a lot so it is an excellent addition to my sewing kit. Thanks a lot Ben, it works a treat!
